Granola Banana Bread

Made using the ripest bananas and our Low Sugar, Naturally Granola, this 9 ingredient Granola Banana Bread is the perfect easy recipe to bake for you and your family. We hope you enjoy!



  • 100g Bio&Me Low Sugar, Naturally Granola
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 280g spelt flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 250ml milk of choice
  • 50ml yoghurt of choice
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 150g dates (pitted)
  • 1 egg or flax egg


  1. Begin by preheating the oven to 180c and lining a 2lb loaf tin.
  2. In a large bowl mash the bananas and then add the milk, yoghurt, vanilla extract and egg. Combine.
  3. Add the dates to a food processor/blender and blend until a paste starts to form. Mix into the banana mixture.
  4. Next, add 50g of the granola to a blender and blend until fine crumbs are formed. Add this to the bowl along with the spelt flour and baking powder.
  5. Mix everything together well before pouring into the loaf tin. Top with the remaining 50g granola and cover with foil allowing some room for the loaf to rise.
  6. Bake in the oven for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin and slicing. Enjoy
